REACH — Distribution & points of sale

Points of sale, retail audits, numeric distribution, engagement and loyalty programmes.

REACH tracks what happens in store: are your products on the shelf, how much room do they get against the competition, and are points of sale taking part in your programmes.

Who does what

The MaDa (or an Admin) creates retail audit campaigns and engagement programmes, with their criteria, tiers and rewards. Field users audit, evaluate, enrol and credit, always on the points of sale of their own territories. Everyone sees the campaigns and programmes covering at least one of their territories; a supervisor, those of their team. An audit or an evaluation belongs to whoever carried it out: it stays theirs even if the point of sale moves to another territory.

The retail audit, step by step

  1. Create the campaign — the MaDa sets a period, the sampled territories (required), the targeted channels if needed (pharmacies, supermarkets…), and the range to check: your products and your competitors'.
  2. Activate it — audits can only be recorded on an active campaign: not in draft, and not once closed.
  3. Audit — on a single screen, the seller picks the point of sale, ticks the products present and, where possible, the quantity on the shelf. A proof photo (10 MB at most) and the GPS position are added. Each point of sale is audited once per campaign.
  4. Read the results — the campaign shows each product's distribution and share of shelf.
A campaign that already holds audits cannot be deleted: its figures have been read. Close it instead.

Distribution and trends

  • Numeric distribution — the share of audited points of sale where the product is present. A product looked for everywhere and found nowhere shows 0%; it does not vanish.
  • Weighted distribution — the same, with each store weighted by the market weight of its rank: a hypermarket counts for more than a kiosk.
  • Share of shelf — your units as a share of all units seen on the shelf, competitors included.
  • Trends — territories compared, weakest first, then the detail by category and by brand, you against the competition. A single product can be read on its own too: does it lift or drag down its class average, and how has it moved from campaign to campaign.

Everyone reads these figures over the points of sale in their scope; the MaDa, over the whole organisation. Audits export to CSV.

Engagement programmes

A programme brings enrolled points of sale together around a goal, over a period and a set of territories. It is one of two types.

  • Evaluation — the point of sale is scored on your criteria (0 to 5 each, weighted), along with the presence of the programme's products and POS material. The overall score runs from 0 to 100.
  • Volume — the point of sale earns points on purchases: the value entered times the points per unit, rounded down to a whole point. It climbs tiers, each of which can trigger a reward.

Any user can enrol a point of sale from their territories. The MaDa can remove one; the points it earned stay with it. A closed programme can no longer be edited, and a programme that still has active enrolments cannot be deleted.

Evaluating at the right pace

The programme's period is split into as many slots as planned visits: a month with four measurements gives four slots of about a week. A point of sale is evaluated once per slot, and the screen tells you which slot you are filling. An entry is still accepted up to two days after a slot ends; outside the programme's dates, it is refused. So nobody can fill everything in one day, or catch up at the end.

Ranking and prizes

The ranking compares the scores obtained with what the slots allowed: a missed slot lowers the score, and an enrolled outlet never evaluated sits at the bottom at 0%. Everyone can read it. A public link, with no login, shows it to the points of sale themselves; it can be copied or shared by WhatsApp.

The MaDa awards the current period's prizes (month, quarter or end of programme) to the top of the ranking, with one of the programme's prizes if they wish. A zero score is never rewarded, and a period is rewarded only once.

Points and rewards

The MaDa defines the rewards: order discount, free products, FunnelRover voucher (a code campaign created in CAMPAIGN), partial cash back or custom, with their cost in points and, if needed, a stock. Crediting points or triggering a reward is done from the point of sale's account, by the owner of its territory, the MaDa or an Admin; the reward is refused if the balance or the stock falls short. Tiers are based on total points earned: spending never moves an outlet back down. If the programme says so, the point of sale is notified by WhatsApp when it reaches a tier.

Around the programmes

  • Recruiting points of sale — from a programme, the MaDa creates an ATTRACT landing page to present it, and a CAMPAIGN code campaign to certify enrolments. One of each per programme.
  • Launch incentives — for a new product, the MaDa records a programme with its territory, period, target number of points of sale and the type of reward promised.

A programme's evaluations export to CSV.
