ATTRACT — Landing pages & lead capture
Landing pages, their calls to action, and the leads they bring into the CRM.
ATTRACT publishes public landing pages: an offer, an event or a launch on a single page, with a call to action. When that call is a form, everyone who fills it in lands in your contacts, along with where they came from and what they consented to.
Who does what
- Admin and MaDa: create, edit, publish, pause and delete pages, and open the full list of people who filled them in.
- Member: sees the list of pages and their figures.
Building a page, step by step
- Start: a name, one of seven designs, and an activity: product launch, event, promotion or general collection. The design sets the look. The activity sets the badge and the date caption ("Registration closes on", "Expires on"…). The page starts as a draft.
- Brand: the main colour, a logo, a header image (5 MB at most) and a short tag above the headline.
- Content: the headline, subheadline, body text, start and end dates, and if needed the product, the territory, or one ACTIVATE event.
- Form: the fields to fill in (text, email, phone, long text, dropdown, date, checkbox), each required or not. Spread over several steps, they show up as a step-by-step form. You also choose which consent boxes to offer.
- Settings: the call to action, which is a form, an external link (an online shop, say) or Google Maps directions to an address. This step also sets the maximum number of sign-ups, the "where to buy" points of sale, the share buttons and, if you have one, your Google Tag Manager container.
- Review and publish: the preview shows the page as the public will see it. One click publishes it.
A page can also start as a draft from a CAMPAIGN campaign or a REACH engagement programme, and you finish it in ATTRACT. Below the form you can add blocks: FAQ, steps, key facts, stats, benefits, agenda, speakers, pricing, gallery, rewards.
A page's life
- Draft: hidden from the public.
- Published: anyone with the address can open it, and it takes sign-ups.
- Paused: visitors read that the page is closed. You can publish it again at any time.
- Closed: the end date has passed. The page closes on its own and takes no more sign-ups.
A page that has already brought in contacts cannot be deleted.
What happens to a sign-up
FunnelRover first checks whether the person is already known. It looks them up by phone number, comparing the digits with or without the country code, and then by email. If they are known, their record is updated (first name, last name, city). If not, they come in as a lead waiting to be qualified. Records are never merged automatically. Either way, the source is written on the contact's record.
- Consent: WhatsApp and email are consented to separately, and only for a channel where the person gave a number or address. If you require it, the person has to accept the terms before they can send the form.
- Event: a page linked to an ACTIVATE event signs the person up for it.
- Confirmation: if WhatsApp is set up for your organisation, a new lead who opted in gets a confirmation message.
A sign-up is refused when a required field is empty, when the required consent box is not ticked, or when all places are taken. For a refused sign-up, only the reason and the date are kept, never what the person typed.
Tracking results
A page's record shows its sign-ups, new contacts, updated contacts and refused sign-ups. It also lists the cities most sign-ups come from and a day-by-day count for the last 30 days. Admins and MaDas can open the full list: date, status, contact, phone or email, city, and the reason for any refusal.
